About Robyn
Yoga as a way of coming home to yourself.
My Journey
My relationship with yoga began in Montreal, and over the years it has become so much more than a physical practice. It has been a way of listening to my body, to my breath, and to the quieter parts of myself that are easy to overlook.
My practice has taken me across the world, from studying yoga in Bali to completing further training in India, and into the practice of Thai massage in Thailand. Each experience has shaped the way I understand movement, stillness, and the relationship between the body and mind.
Today, I bring those experiences together in my teaching.
My approach
I am a 550-hour registered yoga teacher with a practice rooted in tradition and approached with curiosity, openness, and a modern perspective.
Ashtanga has had a particularly meaningful influence on my personal practice. I love the discipline and devotion it asks of us, and the idea that we don’t simply practice when we feel like it, but return to the mat again and again, meeting ourselves exactly as we are; but I don’t believe yoga needs to look one particular way.
Your body, your energy, your experience, and your needs are different from anyone else’s. My role as a teacher isn’t to make you fit into a shape. It’s to help you develop a deeper relationship with your own body and discover what feels supportive, sustainable, and true for you.
My classes can be strong and physically challenging, but they always leave room for softness, awareness, and breath.

Beyond the physical practice
For me, yoga has always been about what happens beneath the surface. The physical practice teaches us patience. Breath teaches us how to stay present. Stillness reveals what movement sometimes allows us to avoid.
I am interested in yoga as a practice of self-awareness, not as a way of becoming someone different, but as a way of becoming more deeply connected to who we already are.
My own journey has taught me that healing and growth aren’t linear. There are seasons of expansion and seasons of slowing down. There are moments when discipline is exactly what we need, and moments when the most courageous thing we can do is rest. I try to bring that understanding into every class I teach.
A little more about me
When I’m not teaching, you’ll usually find me practicing, exploring nature, travelling, cooking, or paddle boarding with my miniature dachshund, Chickpea.
I have a deep curiosity about the ways we make meaning of our experiences, and I love exploring practices that encourage us to look inward, from meditation and mindfulness, to astrology, numerology, and symbolism.
I also have a special love for hands-on healing. My training in Thai massage has expanded the way I understand the body and has become another beautiful way of working with presence, connection, and touch.
At the centre of all of it is the same intention: to create space for people to slow down, reconnect, and feel more at home in themselves.
Come practice with me
Whether you’re completely new to yoga, looking to deepen an established practice, or simply craving a little more space to breathe, you’re welcome here.
Private sessions offer the opportunity to slow things down and explore your practice in a way that’s specific to you. Group classes offer the energy and connection of practicing alongside others.
Wherever you are in your journey, there is no particular place you need to arrive before you begin.
You can start exactly where you are.
